This BAT Bomb was found deteriorating at NIKE site "W-92" in 2000.

The Bat bomb was a RADAR guided glide bomb developed and used during WWII.
National Bureau of Standards did the development.
The Bomb was used by the U.S. Navy with Privateers, Corsairs,
Avengers and later photos show Neptunes postwar.
In the end most were used for crew training postwar.
