One of our "field trips" in A&P school was to go see the remains of TWA Flight 800.
There's my true feeling about aviation safety:
I had no problem riding an airliner from BWI to Islip and back to see a wrecked airliner.
The remains were assembled in the old Grumman Iron Works plant.
The NTSB had made graphs of the recovery zones and a corresponding model.
I have about 50 pics from the tour but these should get the point across.
